The HealthWell Foundation is excited to announce our participation in the Maryland Charity Campaign! The Maryland Charity Campaign (MCC) is a workplace charitable giving program that offers State employees and eligible retirees the opportunity to conveniently, securely, and confidently contribute to charities they care about. This year’s MCC will take place October 6 – December 12, 2025.

Today is World Heart Day! For those living with heart disease, access to care can be life-changing. This month, HealthWell staff proudly participated in several community events across Frederick and Montgomery Counties to spread the word about our life-changing work.
On September 9, we volunteered with Blessings in a Backpack in Frederick County to help assemble food bags for local children in need. On September 13, we joined the fun at Downtown Frederick`s, In the Streets, celebrating the festival’s culture, food, and nonprofits of Downtown Frederick. And, on September 21, we were honored to take part in the Out of the Darkness Walk in Montgomery County, supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and raising awareness for suicide prevention.
